A Friend’s Betrayal
Once in my life, I med a friend of mine
The first time I saw her, I thought she’s fine
‘Till I thought to offer her a fruit wine.
But I think maybe it’s not her “line”.
She became my pal and we’re very close.
As time passed by, our friendship grows
We hanged out until we feel pain in our toes
She’s my ally in fighting foes
We also had many similarities
Fighting together each difficulties
We often pretend we’re celebrities
That were famous in many aspects
But she did something I can’t believe
I don’t understand what’s her real motive
She ignored me without saying a word
Till I found she made new friends in this world
I admired this friend as a soul survivor
And I thought that she will be my protector
Who will help me in all of my endeavor
Bit I didn’t expect that she’s a traitor
I thought our friendship will last forever
But she just left me from out of nowhere
The reason behind this, I can still remember
She left me while she and her friends are together
It’s like I’m a stranger in this place
Facing those people with glaring stares
I’m walking now in this endless maze
Without knowing if I’m in the right pace
She hurt me a lot but she didn’t know
She’s so insensitive! She betrayed me so
Whenever I talk to her, She’s as cold as snow
As if I never exist or maybe never though
The pain she gave me had left a scar
It looks like I was hit by a car
For friendship that was ruined, it broke my heart
Being alone is a difficult feeling for my part
I already shed enough tears
Maybe you are now full of cheers
Willing to have a party with lots of beers
Having fun with all your new peers.
Maybe I was wrong to expect
To give her another chance and respect
There was no more friendship to protect
For me, she’s like a poisonous insect!
How many more times should I pretend
That they’re there for me and I'm their friend
To all the things I made them lend
Until I knew our friendship had end
